Make the best Vanilla Frozen Yogurt with just four ingredients and a few minutes in your ice cream maker. This vanilla bean treat is creamy, easy, and so tasty!

Frozen Yogurt Recipe
Say hello to this creamy and sweet frozen yogurt. This simple treat is so easy to make! You only need a few ingredients and an ice cream maker to whip it up fast!
This frozen treat is as easy to make as it is to love. No need to search for “frozen yogurt near me”—you can have any fruity flavor in less time than it takes to drive to the store.
Quick Tip
You’ll need an ice cream maker for this frozen yogurt. Here’s the one I use and love.

4 Simple Ingredients
To make great vanilla frozen yogurt at home, start with some good ingredients:
- Yogurt: Opt for high-quality vanilla bean yogurt you like on its own. Skip low-fat or fat-free kinds—they make the yogurt too thin. I love Noosa vanilla bean yogurt.
- Heavy cream: Don’t use milk. Only heavy cream can get the right texture.
- Vanilla and salt: Vanilla adds flavor, and a pinch of salt makes it taste better. Use vanilla bean paste or extract—both work great. Learn more about their differences here.
- Sugar: Sweetens the yogurt. Use less for a tangier flavor or more if your yogurt isn’t very sweet.

How To Make This Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
- Add the first five ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into an ice cream maker and follow the instructions to freeze it until it’s the way you like it.
- Eat right away with your favorite toppings, or freeze in a sealed container to make it firmer.
Toppings For Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
- Sauces: Try hot fudge, caramel, butterscotch, fruit syrups, honey, or whipped cream.
- Fruit: Add bananas, berries, kiwi, mango, peaches, or pineapple.
Chocolate: Use brownie bites, chocolate chips, sprinkles, candy bars, toffee, M&M’s, or edible brownie batter.
Crunch: Add granola, cereals (Cocoa Pebbles, Cap’n Crunch, Fruity Pebbles), or Buncha Crunch.
Nuts: Include almonds, peanuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, or candied pecans.
Storage
Leftovers?
- Transfer to an airtight container, press parchment on top, and freeze. For easy portions, use single-serve containers with a little space for expansion.
- How to Thaw: Let sit at room temp for 5–10 minutes, then stir and scoop!

I’ve made this recipe three or four times in the last two weeks. It is so good I can’t get enough!
I’m so thrilled to hear that! What a great compliment! Thanks for the comment Ann 🙂
I got them at a local party store! 🙂 Zurchers!
I find myself at a fro-yo bar most weeks- its a bad habit of mine for sure! I just love it! can’t wait to try this so I can get my fro-yo fix at home (and probably save some $$) lol!
I love frozen yogurt … and I really love all that fresh fruit you topped that with! Which means I can eat this for breakfast right??? 🙂 Have a great weekend!!
These frozen yogurt cups are SO pretty!
Now I need an ice cream maker! This sounds really good Chelsea (though I’d probably be stuffing it full of candy and cookies, destroying all the healthy aspects… I might have a problem).
Frozen yougurt is one of my favorite treats but it sounds like we could save a few bucks if we made it at home!
Frozen yogurt is a HUGE weakness for me. Let me loose in a froyo place and I`ll end up spending twenty dollars on my yogurt. This looks like it makes a lot for less which makes me happy camper. Can`t wait to try it.
Yep, I could get my hands all over this. It looks delicious! Loving the vanilla bean flecks, too 🙂
Love the vanilla bean paste here! And I’m obsessed with the idea of setting up a homemade froyo bar 🙂
