Christmas Punch Ingredients

  • Frozen limeade concentrate: Plan ahead to ensure it is fully thawed.
  • Fresca: This is a citrusy fizzy drink brand name for a flavor boost. You can also use citrus-flavored sparkling water.
  • Cranberry-pomegranate juice: Pick a quality brand for the best flavor.
  • Limes: Use thin slices for better dispersion.
  • Pomegranate arils (optional): For a pop of color.
  • Fresh mint (Optional): A refreshing contrast to the citrus.

How To Make Christmas Punch

  • Prep: Thaw limeade concentrate and chill the Fresca and juice.
  • Muddle: Muddle mint (optional) with a bit of limeade in a punch bowl.
  • Mix: Add the rest of the limeade, Fresca, and juice.
  • Add limes: Toss in lime slices.
  • Ice: Add ice just before serving.

STORAGE

Christmas Punch is best enjoyed soon after being made because over time the fizz will dissipate.  If you do have leftovers, strain out the ice and store the drink in an airtight container in the fridge.

  • PREP: Ahead of time, thaw the limeade concentrate in the fridge. Thoroughly chill Fresca and juice.
  • ASSEMBLE: At serving time, muddle the mint (if using) with a few tablespoons of the limeade in the base of a large punch bowl. Then add the remaining ingredients. Add ice and serve. Garnish individual glasses with pomegranate arils, if desired.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: Muddler: This drink muddler is great, but the top of a sturdy wooden spoon does the trick too!
Storage: This punch is best enjoyed soon after being made (within 1-2 hours), due to carbonated drinks losing their fizz. If there are leftovers, strain out the ice and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
