I Tried the Trend So You Don’t Have To!

I’ll be honest, most TikTok food trends are a miss for me, and fluffy yogurt was one of them. The version with protein powder and baking powder just wasn’t it. I couldn’t even finish the bowl.

But I loved the idea of a high-protein, summer-friendly treat (something to give my frozen protein s’mores a break), so I got to work.

Most of my recipes are pretty flexible when it comes to brands, but not this one. I’ve tested a bunch, and nothing comes close to the combo I’m sharing today. I know it’s not ideal to be picky about brands, but if you want the absolute best fluffy yogurt, these are the exact ones to use!

Fluffy Yogurt Ingredients

I know! Specialty ingredients aren’t the most fun, but trust me, this combo is worth it!

IngredientWhat It Does
Greek yogurtFage 0% works best. It’s super smooth and not overly tangy.
Liquid monk fruitA no-sugar sweetener that blends in really nicely without a weird aftertaste.
Vanilla pudding mixAdds flavor and thickens the yogurt to a fluffy, pudding-like texture.
Whipped toppingMakes it light and creamy. Use thawed whipped topping straight from the fridge. Feel free to use dairy-free whipped topping if needed!
SprinklesJust for fun! You can totally leave these out or replace them with some crushed Oreos, nuts, or chocolate chips.

How to Eat Fluffy Yogurt

  • Dip graham crackers, strawberries, or apple slices
  • Spread on rice cakes
  • Eat straight from the bowl like pudding
  • Top with extra sprinkles, berries, or granola

Storage

Keep covered in the fridge and enjoy within 3 days. The texture stays fluffy and thick! Give it a quick stir before eating if it settles.

Fluffy Yogurt

Fluffy yogurt is a whipped, creamy, high-protein dip. My version skips the protein powder and uses simple ingredients for a thick, dessert-like texture.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

Ingredients

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt and liquid monk fruit until smooth. Whisk in the pudding mix until fully combined.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping with a spatula. Fold in the sprinkles.
  • Taste and add more monk fruit if needed. Serve right away or refrigerate, covered, to thicken slightly. Enjoy on its own or with grahams or fruit for dipping.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: I highly recommend using liquid monk fruit. It blends in perfectly and gives the best flavor. (Skip the granulated kind.) Add more to taste if you prefer it sweeter.
Note 2: Sprinkles are totally optional. You can also try crushed Oreos, cookies, granola, nuts, or anything you love stirred in.
Storage: Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days. Stir before serving if it settles.

Variations

Fun Ways To Switch Things Up!

Customize your fluffy yogurt:

  • Toppings: Sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, crushed grahams, fresh berries, toasted coconut, pretzels, or a drizzle of honey.
  • Flavor Ideas: Stir in peanut butter, almond butter, or Nutella, or add a splash of cake batter, almond, or coconut extract.

Fluffy Yogurt FAQs

Can I Use Regular Yogurt?

It won’t be as thick, and the texture won’t hold up. Stick with a thick Greek-style yogurt like Fage.

Is It Good For Meal Prep?

Yes! Make a batch and portion into jars or containers. Great for grab-and-go snacks or lunchbox treats.

Can I Use A Different Flavor Of Pudding Mix?

Yes! Vanilla is classic, but banana, cheesecake, or white chocolate also work. Just stick with instant pudding.

Can I Freeze Fluffy Yogurt?

I don’t recommend it. Freezing changes the texture and can make it watery once thawed.
