The Recipe I Asked For IMMEDIATELY!

Years ago, I went to a good friend’s house for Bunko night. She had a full spread of appetizers and snacks, and everything was delicious. But I quickly became completely fixated on her cream cheese fruit dip recipe.

One bite and I was all in. It was hands down the best fruit dip I’d ever had. I immediately asked what she did to make it so good, and she laughed and said it was only four ingredients. Four! I could not believe something that good was that simple.

I definitely ate more than my share of that cream cheese fruit dip, and I could not wait to share it here.

Ingredients In This Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Recipe

IngredientTips
Cream cheeseUse full-fat, brick-style for the best texture. Let it soften fully so the dip turns ultra smooth with no lumps.
Marshmallow cremeA good-quality brand makes all the difference in flavor. Use a warm spoon to scoop it out easily.
Lime juiceFreshly squeezed gives the brightest/best flavor. Add slowly and adjust to taste.
Coconut extractOptional, but adds a fun flavor. Start small; the flavor gets stronger as the dip chills.
Fruit for servingPat fruit completely dry before serving so the dip doesn’t slide off.

  • Fresh fruit: My favorites are green or red grapes, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, pineapple chunks, kiwi, and bananas.
  • Other treats: Try cubed pound cake, Rice Krispie Treats, brownie bites, large marshmallows, pretzels, or graham crackers.

Note 1: Increase coconut extract to taste keeping in mind that the flavor deepens as the dip sits. You can also swap with vanilla, orange, or lemon extract.
Storage: Store tightly covered in the fridge for up to 7 days. If separation occurs, stir to recombine.
