Sweet, Simple, and Impossible to Resist!
Growing up, we had a tradition of a big baking day as Christmas approached, where we’d help my parents make neighbor and co-worker gifts.
One of our staples every year was Tiger Fudge (also called Tiger Butter Fudge). I remember dropping it off at people’s houses and hearing, “Oh good, the fudge!” Everyone looked forward to it every year, and of course, I had to share the recipe. It’s simple, delicious, and one of my all-time favorites.
This fudge has a soft, smooth texture with a rich chocolate and peanut butter flavor. With just four ingredients, it comes together in minutes in the microwave—no candy thermometer or special tools required!
How To Make Tiger Butter Fudge
The full recipe is below, but here are some tips for while you’re making it.
- Melt the chocolate: Stir for 20-25 seconds between each burst to prevent burning.
- Add peanut butter: Use creamy peanut butter for the best texture.
- Mix in the swirls: Don’t overmix—let the swirls stay visible!
- Set the fudge: Tap the dish on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Chill: Slice into small squares for easy serving.
Quick Tip
Keep liquid away from the chocolate, as moisture will make it clump. If it hardens, stir in boiling water, one teaspoon at a time. This might help, but it’s not certain.
