Key Lime Pie Breakfast Smoothie

  • 1 container (6 ounces) key lime pie yogurt I used Yoplait lite
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or sub another milk
  • 1 large banana frozen
  • 1 (~1 cup) ripe mango frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon truvia or sub another sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • (~1/3 cup) Small handful spinach
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum makes it thicker
  • Optional garnish: 1 graham cracker, reduced-fat whipped topping


  1. Before making this smoothie, have a banana peeled, coined, and frozen. Also peel and remove the pit of the mango. Chop into pieces and freeze.
  2. In a blender, combine the yogurt, milk, frozen banana, frozen mango, vanilla extract, sweetener of choice, lime juice, and spinach. (Increase spinach amounts of desired)
  3. If desired add in the xanthan gum.

  4. Blend until completely smooth.
  5. Optionally garnish with whipped topping and a few graham cracker crumbs

Recipe Notes

If desired, you can add 1/2-1 cup of ice for a thicker and larger shake.
