½teaspoon each:onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika
⅛teaspoon each:dried oregano, dried parsley, and pepper
Optional: Dipping Sauce! Ketchup, fry sauce, aioli, etc.
Instructions
PREP: Scrub potatoes and peel them. Slice the potatoes into even ¼-inch thick strips. If any strips are longer than 3 inches, cut them in half. Rinse the potato strips under cold water, then dry them completely. (Note: Damp potatoes won't crisp up well.)
SEASON: In a separate bowl (not the air fryer basket), combine the potato strips, olive oil, and all seasonings. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated.
ADD TO AIR FRYER: Preheat Air Fryer to 400°F. If your model doesn't have a preheat function, run it empty for 3 minutes at 400°F. Place HALF of the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. (Cook in two batches for optimal crispiness.)
AIR FRY: Air fry for 10 minutes, then toss them. Spread them back into an even layer and continue air frying for an additional 6-10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
CHECK DONENESS: Since air fryer models vary, check the fries periodically. If they aren't as crispy as you like, continue air frying and check every 1-2 minutes.
SERVE: Taste and, if needed, add a bit more salt.Serve immediately and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
