QUICK TIP Puppy Chow, also called Muddy Buddies or Monkey Munch, usually contains crispy cereal, sweeteners, chocolate or peanut butter, and add-ins. Ingredients Crispy Cereal: Gives the crunchy foundation. Chocolate Chips & Peanut Butter: Create a sweet, creamy coating. Butter: Adds richness and smoothness. Vanilla & Salt: Enhance overall flavor of your puppy chow. Powdered Sugar: Provides sweetness and prevents sticking. Add-ins: Offer extra texture and customization. How To Make Puppy Chow Measure cereal into a large bowl. Melt together peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter; stir in vanilla and salt. Pour the melted mixture over cereal; mix until coated. Divide and shake with powdered sugar in sealable bags for an even coat. Optional: Mix in any desired add-ins like M&M’s. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. STORAGE Room Temperature: Keep puppy chow in an airtight container for up to a week. Freeze: Store in a sealed bag or container for up to 3 months; thaw at room temp. I had to stop making muddy buddies at home because I just cannot control myself around it!! haha I blame college – we didn’t have a kitchen so the only dessert we ever made was muddy buddies! These flavors sound awesome! Reply
