Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use your recipe or photo on my website or blog?

So glad you asked! You can use my photos on your site, but please do not republish any of my recipes with my photos together. If you want to use my photos, please include a link back to the page where my photo and recipe originated from. (Great example here.)

You can republish the ingredient list from any of my recipes to your site, but please link back to the original page for the instructions. (Great example here.)

Can I substitute “x” ingredient for the ingredient listed in the recipe?

Chances are I haven’t tried your particular substitution idea. If I have, I will likely have written about it in my post. I like to include substitutions I know will work (because I have tried them) in many of my posts. If you can’t find anything in the post, feel free to ask, but I likely won’t be of too much help! I don’t want to tell you something will work if I haven’t tried it myself. Also please note that even “tried and true substitutions” that work in other recipes, may not always work in all of my recipes.

Are you on social media?

YES! And I would love for you follow along with me! You can follow me on PinterestInstagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and subscribe to my YouTube channel. Also, don’t forget to subscribe through email to have recipes sent directly to your inbox.

Do you have any blogging advice?

I’m thrilled you are asking! I have a nearly 200-page book on every single thing I learned (I’m spilling ALL my secrets!) in my first year of blogging. I made over $42,000 my first year of blogging and I share everything I did to get there in this easy-to-read e-book. I show step-by-step pictures on how to set up a blog, how to place ads, how to start and grow your social media pages, how to improve your photography, and much more! This book can be found here

Can I email or contact you directly?

Of course! I would love to hear from you. You can email me at chelseasmessyapron (at) gmail (dot) com OR fill out a contact form here.

I emailed you or commented and haven’t heard back…

First off, SO sorry! I try my very hardest to respond to all emails and recipe question inquiries. But, I do know some slip through the cracks. And unfortunately a lot of my emails get marked as SPAM so I may have never even seen it! If this is you, please try again (and if you haven’t heard back from my emails, try on social media instead just in case you are getting spammed!)

What is your comment policy?

I love reading your comments. And I truly appreciate the people that leave a review and their thoughts on the recipe – it is so helpful for other readers! I do, however, reserve the right to remove any comments that are offensive, inappropriate, or rude. I want Chelsea’s Messy Apron to be a positive place, so let’s keep it that way 🙂
